Would like to fit early Au motor into my ute,i beleive all i have to do is grind fins from front of sump to clear k frame ???also thought maybe an AU3 motor,,but the VCT worries me,all help wellcomed, thanking All RegRevzCruisers.

Any AU motor non-vct will be easy to put in.

The sway bar gets in the way.
You'll have to mod the sump. read: ford-4l-and-6-cylinder-f1/au-sump-mod-for-e-series-t79648.html

Cut the K Frame its easier and faster if you have a welder i did mine and if come on the cruise run on the 13th of this month i can show you.
