I have the access to a wrecked AU XR6.
I was wondering how much stuff would bolt on to my EL.
Springs, diff, gearbox, exhaust, wheels, rotors, interior ????

I dont want to do huge mods - just simple change overs..

Any help much appreciated...

a) Motor will fit with a sump Modification.
b) Springs can be used but will alter ride height (Higher)
c) If it is auto, no issues. If it is a 5 speed then the box will be slightly longer. Can be used with small mods. If you do this you will need to use the AU Manual tailshaft. Auto Tail shaft is the same as E series.
d) Exhaust will fit as long as it is not IRS.
e) Wheels are the wrong offset (+36). Diff will bolt in but handbrake is different as is the offset.
f) Rotors will not fit, slip on Rotors compaired to E Series Hub Style. No brake components are compatable with the E series. Booster will fit ith drilling 2 new holes and using the AU Master Cylinder.
g) Seats can be made to fit with modification. Dash is a major Modification. ECU - No, BCM - No, Power windows - No.

i put au seats in my ef its piss easy
for the front seats you just have to change the bases over so they bolt into the floor
back seats need a bit of modifying though cant remember how i did it but didnt take any longer than 2 hours
