The hp is good for sure if you wanna up grade the cam and do all the bizzo, but the VCT for a standard care is still a great car. you dont need to do anything and they're quick enough.the IRS makes the ride so much more cruisy though. it aint a drag car so not worth wastin the money

I just signed the papers for an AUIII XR6 VCT today, took it for a drive and loved it, its got a heavy duty clutch and a short throw shifter already on it, smooth to drive and its got a bit of balls too, beats the s**t outta my dedicated gas EA haha

Good on ya mate! You won't regret it. AU XR6 VCT's are a top car and really haul! Prepare to scare some LS1's.

Of course, I am biased...

B.T.W does your mate like replacing head gaskets

?? I've hardly ever heard of an AU blowing a head gasket compared to EA-EL's..

I'd got for a Series 3 any day..

Although I had a 5 Speed AU1 XR6 which looked like a series 3, was the best car I've ever had..
