Do you know what improvements ford did between the series 1 to series 3?

performance wise nothing at all i dont think....i think just interior changed slightly, i know the dash was different in series 2 and 3....
series 2-3 also got different front bar, and body kit changed on the series 3 and there were a few different spoilers through out series 1-2-3....

I personally wouldnt worry about what series the car is, just look for one with low k's

I recently got an 02 sr3 manual and it hauls a** for what it is. The sr1 had single piston fronts on 287mm discs the sr2 & 3 had twin piston fronts. The front bar on the 2/3 looks better with two wind splitters above the number plate as against the sr1 single one. Other than that and newer badges I cant think of any?

out of the 3 id definately got the series 3. The bodykit looks by far the best, with the mesh in the rear skirt and to side skirt with the 2 tone.and lower front spoiler. That or the series 2, which looks much better then the series 1, just my 2c

series 2 and 3 are almost the same between series 1 to 2 there where massive changes. series 3 looks the best by far.

There's no mesh in my sr3 bodykit. That must be an aftermarket kit or add on.

It might be the 'T' series rear bar? I know that had a mesh insert.
