AU3 vs ELGT.

AU3 = cheaper

both fit fine, and the mention of the bonnet rubber fowling the AU3 snorkel, maybe it's only on the EF bonnet, and it's ok on mine, and other EL's I've seen/heard about.

As for mouth size, I'd say the AU3 one would be bigger, as the AU3 XR8 has 220KW, vs the ELGT's 200KW. Although, maybe that's got nothing to do with it.

edit:

EL stock vs. AU3
I positioned it so it wasn't a tight fit, so it's sits slightly further back. Dyno proven, with a few extra RWKW just the snorkel, then a few extra RWNM with the K&N panel. Throttle response was noticeable different (better) as judged by the 'seat-o-pants-ometer'. I didn't have an 1/4 times before, so no comparo there.

Yeah your fitment is like mine with the AU3 Snorkel Datamine. I was wrong though about aligning with the original holes and in the end I did have to put the Snorkel about 1cm back. And the bonnet rubber just aligns on top of the mouth so no issues with air restrictions on my EL.
