thiers a picture a few pages back of wheb i tried mocking up some hose to fit......where does the one that runs off the heater pipe coming from the thermostat housing go to????

The one from the lower thermostat housing, goes to the heater tap. It should be a straight piece of hose. And there should be a little 10mm diametre hose that goes between the two metal pipes.

The other side of the heater tap goes up to the heater box.

Cool thanks mate i'v got that sorted now :D

More issues :evil:
I'v started to put in the appropriate pins into my loom foe the ECU but as it turns out my one already has Pin 4 witch is the smartlock signal wire.........My car is an EBII non smartlock???? I have a J3 chip on the way witch is going to dissable the smartlock
Do i need to worrie about it?

if it has the wire and pin already in the ecu plug for the smartlock are you sure it doesnt already have smartlock??

im pretty sure it doesnt.... When i did the manual conversion I used an EA manual ECU.....It doesnt have the smartlock light in the dash.
Is thier away of telling if it does?

If it has the Smartlock Module above the handbrake lever, then it has smartlock. Should be Orange.

Does your car have factory remote central locking? If not, it won't have smartlock either.

It has cental locking but it has an eftermarket alarm fitting witch has remote locking.
And get this..........Pin 23 for the knock sensor has a wire in it already WTF??????

its a 1992 EB fairmont on the Registration.
It say EBII on the stamp under the header tank.

What month was it made?

My EB11 did not have smartlock or central locking from factory. Smartlock and remote locking was introduced in September 1992.

Where abouts does it tell me what month it was made?
I still dont under stand why thiers wires in pins 4 and 23??????? it also doesnt have a wire in pin 17 witch is for self test mode??????

yep thats the bottom of the plug..
if you look at the top of the plug where the wires go in there are pin numbers marked next to the wires..(very small)
so you look at the pins from the top of the plug not the bottom.. :)

so i think your looking at pin 16 and 36..

so are the ones on the bottom of the plug not the same as the top????
