you will definatly need a idler pulley and bracket if your not running a/c..

Ok do you know of anywhere were i can get one or will i have to make one? If so what do you sugest the best method for doing that is? I thought of getting another pully from one and modifying it to fit?

I would go to your local ford dealer, I have seen factory brackets with idler pulleys as a factory item.

Before i go out and buy An El EF BBM i thought i would put some pics up of my AU series 2 BBM I dont see any reason for it not to work??
Will i just have to drill and tap hole to make the right sensors fit??

yep its a au 2 or 3 ..
you can still drill and tap if you want.?
but i think its easier to use a el one!

ok im going to go for a drill and tap to save money.
I got the motor in today and I am having a lot of trouble getting the Heater hoses to line up?

I had to make those up out of my old ones and i tried dummy fitting the BBM and the pipe that runs around the back of the motor seemed to keep getting in the way??
I was as if it sat up to high?

oh i see..
i just had a better look at the pic..
the one going to the tap is fine...
what you need is a ef/el heater hose..
its kind of a s shape hose.. this should allow the pipe to sit lower..

I will have to order a EF EL right hand radiator hos aswell then?

your have a EF EL radiator dont you mate? Do you have a set of thermo fans yet? Its good to see you already have the engine in mate although it would have been easier to bolt on the BBM and accessories to the engine before dropping it in. but you will be alright, its just a bit less room now to play with.

did you find out about the bracket and pulley to replace the aircon pump?

Havnt found out about the pully yet.
I got a new radiator a little while ago and i think it was EB-EF but im not sure.
havnt got the thermos yest either.
Its not alll going to happen at once but ill slowly get everything i need.
cheers I also read the post in the Retrofit Info forum about AU to EBII on the last page and that was a great help because now i know what i need.
