hi guys
does anyone have a diagram on the au vct cam solinoid/controler..
as in dismantled view??

ive got a au vct engine ready to go in my ed and the solinoid has been weeping oil and im looking at if its servicable
or repairable..

im going to try connecting it via the bbm output and see what happens..
otherwise yes ill disable it
but im still interested to see a dismantled one or a diagram of one..

does anyone even have any info on how the vct unit operates???? eg..
what voltage does it operate at?? is it in operative at 0 voltage or 12v?

i remember reading a thread (i think twason's) about his conversion and there was talk in there about playing around with shift points.

it has 12 v constant. the ECU supplies a earth at RPM's above 3200
