Hi guys

My dad has a AU Fairmont series 2 and has recently got a new radiator with new coolant through it. Everything has been fine up until recently where he has noticed that all coolant has gone into water and he is just wondering why there isnt any coolant sitting in the overflow ?

Is it clear as water or a bit of green?

That may have added extra coolant to the over flow to make it look super green, looks good happy customer. now it's all mixed through and not so green.

If the coolant/inhibitor used is not mixed to the correct proportions, it can be worse than running straight water.
I use 2 bottles (500ml) of Repco Inhibitor.....don't have any probs...lasts about 2 years.....it's in an almost transparent bottle.
It is recommended to use a chemical flush prior to filling, as to remove remnants of the old inhibitor.
