I am looking to make some engine improvments to my AU XR6 II, I will be doing the obvious ones (extractors & exhaust), but what other mods should i do?

should i do the intake? Port and polish?

Also does anyone have a RWKW figure for a standard AU XR6 II 5 speed manual.

hi flow air filter ie K+n is good as well

there is a edit availible for them as well

So far i have come up with the following shopping list:

pace maker 4480 Extractors
redback 2.5" Exhaust
redback Cat
ss inductions intake
K&N panel filter
Spiral ignition leads
Platinum spark plugs

Should i put a stage 3 cam in as well? but then i would have to chip the ECU.

Also what about a 3" mandrel bent intake and ss inductions throttle body?

thoughts ideas?

leave the throttle body alone not needed

get teh altered stage 2 cam and will run on the ecu

the intake is a good idea as well

What sort of cam shoul i go for? i was thinking of a JMM stage 2 cam or maybe a wade?

check reply above yours.
or go for the surecam street warrior cam & chip package for $995 but performance valve springs is required $295
don't know what type of power is expected from it.

don't worry about wade! they still have issues with idle, I think they've pulled the plug on it all together.

Ask someone in the forum who's.... I'll ask
who's running a altered stage 2 cam for a AU's, what type of power/torque ??% expected?
