My mate is getting a turbo R33 skyline next week, it is stocko except for the exhaust...
Im pretty sure he thinks he is gonna smoke me, but im not sure...
What does everyone think? will he eat me or will it be closer than he thinks?

(Note my mods in sig)

Hmmm. Not sure on this one. If he gets the manual i'd say your gunna get beat. Those Skylines dont go too bad.

Its a shame cos on the Gold coast every wanker seems to own one. You get very sick of seeing them.

at 10PSI and standard except for an exhaust (cat back) my room mates r33 gets me.

Only time will tell though.

I think it could be pretty close at the start but damn those things pull hard up top. The thing will keep pulling whilst your I6 will run out of puff. My mate has an R33 the same spec as you mentioned and I have nothing on him in my EL 5spd with LSD and exhaust. I suspect your mods will save you from being embarrased but he will still take it.

Not sure what motor it has, all i know is its a r33 turbo, 5 speed manual.
I have raced one before from 100 km and it was dead even, not sure of mods it had though...and ive also raced a 180sx with front mount and exhaust, 5 speed and it was hell close till about 120 than he started pulling away...
i dont know the bloke that well so not sure how good he can drive a manual and i know my car goes hard off the line so hopefully he gets a really s**t start and cant catch me hahaha
Ill let everyone know how i go anyway

You'll be in with a chance, RB25DET nothing special in stock form, plus your spoiler provides traction enhancing abilities beyond that of the average skyline wing.

it really depends. is it a r33 gt-st??? or a gtr??? gtst youll have him all the way, but a gtr and he will get you, they have wicked take offs because of their awd, but no one does hard take offs with awd's unless their willing to kill their clutch. your car should be capeable of 14's so either way it will be a good run
