What is the correct wire pin number to cut from ECU to auto trans, 71 81?. for an AUll falcon. are the wire numbers the same as EF {older trans} or the EL {newer Trans}

I'm talking about a 2001 AUll 4speed auto.

Help anyone. :?

More likely to be similar to the EF because the EF's had a coilpack too. the EL's only have 60 pin-outs from the ECU anyway (38 & 57 are the relevant ones)

Thanks 4 that man!. hacked into pin 81 & 71 and its working like a dream. shift is quick & firm, not harsh as I thought it would be. just the right amount of line pressure I surpose.

Since the ECU was reset when the battery was disconnected, I've also notice that when I drive it hard, the gears seems to hold on longer but when accelarating from 0-80kmh it seems to shift fast and smooth.

Should I drive it without activated for a while or run it full time till ECU learns?

Before............0kmh=onnnnnnnnnnnnne@%#!*~#twwoooooooooooooo#*%!#*#*!threeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Now.............0kmh=onnnnneeeTwooooooooooThreeeeeeeeeeeeeeFourrrrrR 80kmh

I'm shocked what a $13.00 mod can do. So how soon we I hear a "thump" between gear change?

:twisted:
