When I refered to squeezing down into the pipe I was referring to comments by others that no matter how big or wide the intake's opening is, it will be the same volume of air going into the pipe of a uniform width and not shoving more down there just because the intake opening is wider or looks wider than the SS intake.

Found these snorkels on ebay...

They are cheap but i don't know if they will fit the EF...

thats not cheap..i picked up a snorkel and other various intake bits for $20........it says "Please note this is for the SCOOP only and does NOT include the SNORKEL". It only inclueds the part cirlced in the red

what a rip off.....its a good idea to try and dierct the air to the snorkel, it would be easy to knock something up yourself.......

A few people on ehre have already done it. But it's not worth it on say an EF GLi were you don't have a grill for the air to come through.

the ea/eb have 'letter box' style grille.....im gonna giv it a go this w/end...see how it goes
