hi can someone help me out i want to do a conversion for my ef from a auto to a manual can anyone tell me if i need to change my ECU :?: :?: :?:

there is a mod that can trick the ECU to thinking its in Neutral. dont know where it is , searching may help.

ECU's before the smartlock (Eb2) that had a seperate transmission control (TCM) are the same, but newer ECU's, the smartlock one's from EB2 onwards they differ.

Voxace's guide will tell you how to trick the Auto ECU into allowing you to have a manual in your car. If you have a EA-ED & want another gearbox wiring loom to mod, send me a pm, i have a couple of sale, unmolested looms.

i have done a couple of conversions and have left the auto computer and had no problems
