about a month ago i had the s5 solinoid replaced in my auto (its a 4lt eb)because the gear changes where getting really hard and after it was really good for about 2 weeks the it started to shift really hard again through the gears mainly 1st-2nd so took it back and left it with them again and they ring back saying the box is stuffed so they cleaned the valve body and new fluid and filter again and now its slipping like all buggery , my concern is how could it go from a really hard shift no slippage to slipping so bad could another solinoid be buggered .

i have the same problem with my EB XR6. the 1st to 2nd changes, 50% of the time drops too many rev's and its NOT going to 3rd like some people suggest. i've also had valve body modified valve train replaced solenoid etc, all in an attempt to get consistant 1-2 changes, but i think either there is not enough line pressure or box buggered.....
