I dont think you'll get a huge improvement in fitting one over the stock EF airbox, but i think it may be a little bigger so it will allow a greater amount of air inside the box. But that depends on how you plan to feed the air into box i.e larger snorkel, cold air duct from front bar to underneath the airbox.

You could fit the BA/BF intake piping tha goes from the throttlebody to airbox if you wanted to, i've done that i guess its made a bit of an improvement in breathing and response higher in the rev range. Combine it with a k&n filter, c.a.i and you should get better throttle response

My 2 cents worth

If you go to a wrecker for a BA airbox they may want to sell you the whole intake, i.e. snorkel, airbox, filter, flextube and crosspipe. This can be a good way to do it. Cost me $85.

The BA airbox is larger in volume and about 20% wider. The filter is also about 20% wider (less resistance), plus has a different design that may offer less resistance again.

But even if you fit a whole BA intake, you still have work to do if you wanto to optimise the system, because dramatically reducing resistance before the airbox may be the single most advantageous thing to do. So larger snorkel again, or additional or alternative cold air intake.
