just wandering, what else can be done on the BA's intake to get some extra power, would changing the intake pipe to S/S make much diff? also, are there any other intake manifolds that can be used in place of the stockie?

Fiddling around with you air intake isn't going to do a whole lot. If you really want to get a good power bump just go straight for the edit. If you want more then that, do your extractors and an exhaust first, then go for an edit - a custom job if you want even more grunt.

$1400 is expensive unless your going to a retail store such as BPT, JMM and G&D etc who do fantastic work and lots of R&D but do charge abit more. i rang around about getting pacemakers, 2.5" cat back and first place i called was $1100, second was $1150 with a few extras in a package and my mate got $1200 quoted for a ute.

just look up exhaust and muffler stores in your area on www.yellowpages.com.au then give some a call about a quote, they always seem keen to help you out on the phone.
