Hey guys..

Just wondering if anyone can tell me if engine numbers on BA motor are specific to the type of motor (standard, XR6T, gas motor)

for example JGSW4A????? and JGSW2A?????

6FPAAA = Ford Australia Built Car
JG = Falcon Motor
SW=Sedan Short Wheelbase
CM=Ute
WA = Wagon
LW = Long Wheelbase (i think)
AT=Territory

so, for exampe
JGCM4P56986 would be a Ute built in 2004... as the number after the first 4 digits is the build year
