I got my self a BA I6 iv been looking into getting a twin exhaust setup, I have the headers and the cat I just need a pipe cat back. I went to my local exhaust shop asking for twin pipes out of both sides of the bar and was told it cant be done because of the plastic fuel tank. I know this isn’t true because iv seen Ba’s with the same setup I’m looking for. The problem is I need an under-car photo to show the shop to make my system, If any one has a picture of a system I am looking for I would much appreciate it.
Thanks Eddie

well anythink is possible with $$$, you should be able to get a custom made system that will route appropriately around the tank to the other side. If your willing to spend top-dollar, jim mock motorsport should be able to do something for you.

Seen quad tip/dual pipe on a few BA's on websites. Quite a common thing at the moment.

Rumours going round you can only do the dual pipe mod on the BA, because of the different shaped boot and fuel tank.

Eddie try talking to FAT5IX, he has it done to his BA, was a straight forward mod I believe. Check http://www.fordmods.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=33693 here under exterior modifications.

yeh its not hard, just clever pipe work to get around the diff etc... the fuel tank is under the back seat and above the diff/rear suspension so i dont see how thats a problem
