i don't think wheel's void warranties buddy unless said on the contract. you got the contract or anything? i has 18's on my ba series and put it in for warranty, they took it in.. and i also got new sparkies in them as well as a new k&n panel, warranty not voided!

Yeah there are a few threads on this, its funny that they are going to do this even though you dont have the paint peeling off. I think from memory i read that 2 panels or something had to be peeling before they would do it. I got an 06 BF in shockwave and havnt had a problem with the paint at all, some have said it was only the BA others have said it was the BF as well, all i know is mine is fine and i have had a fair amount of stone chips and even that hasnt started it peeling.

oh ok, well i guess thats why then. I have had so many parts of my car resprayed and body kits fitted i think the only bits that would possible are the roof, boot and doors. Oh well i guess if it does i will be heading on down to ford to get it fixed.

if they're doing the whole car respray.. make sure you dont drop the car off with the rims you got on now, chuck on the stockies if you still got em, you never know... sometimes they might accidentally respray your rims :P

Phill, now i know why u asked me if ive had any paint flaking problems, u have seen my car phil, doesnt look too bad yeah? i only just found out about the shockwave recall, my paint has no peeling or anything. but can i still get around to a re-spray by somehow make it flake on purpose? lol..
or go down n say i would like a re-spray cause i was told to be on the safe side of things.. ok now im just talking s**t..lol

nah mate i think it needs to be peeling on 2 or 3 panels and they will only paint the metal so u usually gotta cough up the difference to get the plastics painted so it all matches
