Its a bit hard to see without taking out the grille and stuff just it just mounts to one existing bolt and ya drill 2 small holes... Ill see if i cant get a picture. Just keep an eye on ebay or go to your local auto parts store, they would be able to order one for ya. Wouldnt pay more than 160 - 170 for the pwr one.

:D
Just spoke to guys at PWR & the part no's previously posted are for a universal kit that will fit a BA with small modifications to the cooler.

However after letting them know of the specific probs our model has(BA)
Apparently they get a calla day about a cooler for a BA or BF
They have agreed to make a specific cooler that will fit a BA perfectly.
Sales for this product will commence in 4 weeks time.
About the $130 mark!

I know it's not a BA, but i bought a cooler which my transmission mechanic uses to bypass the BA radiators with. It's pretty bloody big, and the kit was designed for a BA with brackets, hoses and fittings, basically eveything you need. Set me back about $160. I just adapted it to fit my EL.

oooh nice kit - where did it come from at that price?

Ive always not liked the alloy radiators. I'll be doing copper in my XF to make sure. I also run the CouplerTec stuff on the car and I swear that accelerates the process (but radiators are easier to change than panels)

The comment about voltage though is really important.

100% correct, the kit i bought was actually for a BA, i had to modify the mounting brackets so it would fit. There are better, smaller and more efficient coolers around, this was the most cost effective option at the time.

the one problem with bypassing the radiator is it also works as a heater to bring the trans oil to operating temperature within a shorter period of time, so if your car is used mainly for short trips, bypassing the radiator cooler will shorten your transmission life due to longer warm up times.

its got nothing to do with the transmission, its the radiator that causes it.

i have a BA PWR kit on my BA

here it is.
