hey guys, im putting some gauges into a ba xt, including an oil pressure gauge. the car has an fpv instrument cluster, so im wondering if i can take out the stock oil pressure switch and replace it with a sender unit instead? or is it possible to buy a pre-fabricated t piece, which would screw into the place of the switch, and enable me to screw the switch and pressure sender into it at the same time? does enzed or some one else in perth make stuff like this? am also wondering where the stock ba xt water sensors are? maybe i can get a t piece to add a water temp gauge?

BA doesnt have a water temp guage. It has a CHT (Cylinder head temperature) sensor which is at the rear of the head and needs to be screwed into the head to the appropriate tension to work. Also they are a one use sensor, and it would be an absolute prick to get out with the head on the car.

If you really want a water temp sensor it would probably be easier to put a T piece in on of the smaller coolant hoses or even tap a sensor into the coolant bottle itself.

I did mine with a sandwich plate.. it goes between the block and oil filter (oil filter will now screw onto the sandwich plate, not the bolt) and provides you with a few places you can mount an oil pressure sender.
