Nope, I'd rather just change my diff gears and get an LSD put in there first and have a car quicker than one with cams/exhaust/tune for 1/2 of the price. This is assuming he wants more power to go faster, I think that is a pretty safe assumption? I mean maybe he wants more power and no LSD so he can single peg it and not be any quicker, or more power on a dyno sheet so he can whip off to it...

Sucks about the wisdeom teeth though, right in time for the weekend too :(

yer it does suck pain killers aint doin jack for it, been sitting here all night watching old western movies on austar.
as for what this guy wants i dunno id personally start by getting it to breath better and get the exhaust flow better, i personally have seen a lad here that done up a mk2 bf did the exhaust and big lumpy cams, mums still left him for dead, he didnt have any flow from the exhaust for some reason he went a 2" sports system and 3 mufflers, and over oiled his K&N filter, mums on the other hand has an f6 typhoon box and cokd air intake and a 2.5" system and it goes like a cut cat. funny thing is though when i brought the eb i though finally something with a bit more power i took it for a run and to be honest the datto go harder, went down the strip i ran a 19.2 in the eb and a 14.3 in the datto.

In order on how it should be done ;)

LSD with 3.9's / 4.11's at same time. This will get the car off the line like a cat that's just been sprayed with a hose.

Cold Air Intake - Get the XR6T/XR8 upper snorkel ($40) or go the extra $$ and go SS Inductions Growler.

Complete Exhaust system from headers down to the tips.

Camshafts. This is where you may have a few decisions to choose from. Either Low - Mid RPM power, Mid - Hi RPM power. I'm going with very aggressive Mid to High RPM camshafts.

Fuel Pump, Fuel Reg and marginally better injectors.

Last but certainly not least, tie all this in - TUNE THAT SLU*!!!

mini spool will be pointless if its a daily.
willl give you the shlts and be more hassel than its worth.
but if your doin a lot of burnouts and plenty of drag racing then go for it. i mean to get all the power from the 6pot to the ground you better run slicks too
