on first start up of the EA the red battery light comes on one or two little revs the light goes away and does come on until you stop the car and do something and start it up again then it comes on. Now the EA has no trouble starting and stopping and restarting etc etc it is just annoying when the light comes on.

the EA doesn't f@rt splutter or miss or anything assoicateed with alternator problems i just stummped.

and ps i don't like the search feture typed in battery light various combernations with outher words etc and came back with thing not related to my issue

This is a normal falcon problem. All my xf's did it, my EB does it and so does my XH. Hell even the tractor I am currently driving does it! I think it is because they need the revs to get the alternator to kick in.

maybe check the tension on the belt. if its a new one, maybe it needs to be rechecked

the pulley size needs to be reduced to overcome this, but this will mean it will spin faster.

if it squeals thats probably where the problem lies. if teh idle is set too low, bump that up and it'll probably fix it too.
