Thanks guys

I had my doubts especially after getting under the car and looking at the starter, it looks all clean and new. I'll drag the one out of the EB and chuck that in, if it cures the problem I will be satisfied. if it doesn't....well Pick n Payless might get a bloody call!

I'll report back when it s done.

Cheers
Bruce

Well guys - thanks. It was infact the damn starter motor. Took the spare out of my EB and chucked it in the ED and it actually spins over at the normal rate. Cranking voltage is 10.6V, well within range. And all this from a battery that wouldn't even turn it over a couple of days ago. Oh, and I hate the top starter bolt with a passion!@

The ED lives.... at least for a little while until the next thing

Cheers
Bruce

Great minds obviously think alike! :D

Glad you got it fixed man, and thanks for letting us know what it was. I had a similar problem with a datto a while ago.
