Hey Guys,
I've been doing some homework on exaust as im intrested to do my EL, after making a couple phonecalls i found some prices that are very intresting!!!
These are the following specs: 2" 1/2 sport exaust, Redback with labour
Midas Balwyn $500
K-mart Doncarster $450
Midas Preston $350

Anyone know anywere cheaper in Melbourne? Have your say! Also i started to trip it out with Midas with 2 different prices, but i guess you pay for being in the area!

Cheers!

hrmmm, I had 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust wtih single redback muffler installed for $240 3 years ago. Admittedly that is with no tip, and was here in Adelaide, but you should be able to get a better price than that....

Try Fastfit......but you should get away with a 2 1/2" sports exhaust for $300 fitted without a tip.....add around $50 or so for a tip to be added on!!!!

Cheers

it not difficault to install the exhaust.

U need to jack the car up as high as possible so u can reach in the tight spots.

But it will take u longer than 30mins for sure. Too me about 3hrs, incld:
- removing the old exhuast
- removing the rear bumper
- swapping the rubber exhuast holders
- installing exhuast
- installing the new exhuast
- tiding up the garage again

what he said^^^^, and what i was going to say soon as i saw the heading.

Hallem Performance 9702 3030

they are the best guys with exhausts, even if they MAY quote a touch more expensive i don't know but my car was taken to a cheapo place before i did know about hallem perofrmance and they did a dodgy job, i got every thing redone there it was 100 times better, and i know of alot of people that have been very very happy with the exhuasts that come out of there, barny is the best at exhuasts round, hallem performance is lucky to have him.

and im not just saying that coz i got a big hallem performance dynotuning sticker on the back of my car, i go there for alot of things that i need for my car.

I would try Berwick exhaust or Kleenflo in cranbourne (i got mine there). We get stuff done there with my wok and they are both very competitive with prices and both do a good job with good sounding systems.
