As far as bigger cams, there are many but they are not advertised widely, I guess because cam grinders dont want people who dont understand what all the numbers mean to buy them. The crow 539 for example - 610 thou lift, 247 duration @ 50 on 106 LSA. They also grind the 546 'race cam' up to 650 thou lift.

Fuk thats a big f**k off cam! 247 duration with a 106 lsa! Wow that would sound absolutely horn! Zero hope of that running on a standard computer :)

Surecam and Tighe also grind over 240deg@50 with LSA's under 108.

Real mans cams have LSA under 108 :)

IMO its tack times and mph that count, not big cam specs or tough exhaust sounds. The only time I have seen from a 'stage 3' wasnt that impressive (let me know if there are more as I would like to know).

lol at stock bottom end?? don't see the humour, I was referring to piston fly cutting, if thats tickles your giggles, then that is strange.

And it is the track times that count, and not specs.

But the fact of the matter is that he posted up a question about large lumpy cam, with price been the matter.

And if you think the RPD Stage 3 isn't a candidate, then you've been living under a rock.

And if a cam is not been advertised, to me thats not on the market

Cheers

Just reminds me of the BA boys who make up their own class rules so they can claim that their car is the fastest in its class

Im not saying its not a candidate, im not telling anyone not to get it, just saying that it is not the biggest on the market, and there is a suprising lack of results being published for a cam that everyone says is so good. I want to know how this cam goes, but nobody seems to want to put one down the 1/4 (not that i have seen anyway).

To be fair, those cam specs are on the crow website, just not along with all the street cams.

ok, fair enough...

And I wasn't making up my own class (although that wouldve been funny), just the average me doesn't wanna flycut their pistons. Hence when I was looking for a cam, that was something in my head, stock on bottom end, without cutting anything.

Cheers
