Hi guys I'm getting a major service on the beast next week and am wondering which of the 2 types of spark plugs are better?

NGK iridium laser - premium , the ones in the silver / grey box.

Or the NGK iridium IX comes in a blue box.?

Are they similar?

Lol why use normal when better ones are available.
Isn't it like every 80-100 ks for plugs?

Because it probably does s**t f**k all besides longer lasting. You change spark plugs every 15-25k IMO. 80K-100K...only if it's the expensive stuff...such as iridium, however even that's questionable.

ever tried taking a plug out that has been in a head for 100,000k's?

you wont notice any performance differences between a $4 plug or a $30 plug

Do you know how much of a pain in the a*** it is to change plugs on B series turbos every 15k ? I did mine at
110k with Troyman and used the genuine iridium plugs and they came out fine.
The manual also specifies they should be changed around that interval too. So Baxr6w use the genuine ones and you cant go wrong.

imo your best value for money is the factory plugs, they are iridiums and are half the price of the ngk equivilant..
no performance gains to be had from them either.

Ok well I've decided to go with iridium laser. Only 70$ for 6.
And last up to 100,000 ks. Can't go wrong.
Cheers for ur opinions thow

The BA Falcon and VE Commonwhore Iridiums are cheaper than the rest as they are sold in larger quanties. We sell most Iridiums for $21.50 ea and the FR5IE's are $11.50 ea. Good value if you ask me.
