Hey
I am just wondering if anyone can tell me the biggest cam you can get from Wade that will run on a Stock Computer and if it needs springs I had a quick look at the website is the 1521a anygood??? Does anyone have this cam in there car???? I heard the 1636 is good to is this right? Is it the second biggest cam you can get from them??? Cheers Griffo

from past posts the 1636 would be a bit tame for a manual,,i think the 1521a would suite it better

i have (had) a wade 977b, they said its the biggest regrind they did. required springs. |

Did it go hard? I want something that will go hard all the time hard as and smoke the s**t out of the commies and other falcons (ie my friends who i dont beat in a race by enough for my liking) Griffo

still havent put it on a dyno yet, but pulls a dam sight better to when it was stock.

The ECU has trouble running with the 1521a.

they only cost ~$130 to get one, and i do have the spring but their in the motor at the moment.
dont think i'll be seeing that cam again though, ah well. anyway if i get another cam it definatly going to be a billit one as i HATE shims, stupid tappy lil things. |

can the 1636 come as a billet? or just a regrind?

you can get any grind as a billet, the only issues may be that it can have cam tunnel issues as well as rocker cap issues if its too big a grind
