Hey guys I just recently bought a xr6 07 bf mk2 and I was wondering what sort of performance exhaust I should get, like brand names and what type I should get, I want to to sound sexy as , no droning or any of that just and awesome rumble and sounds good when u light her up.
Also their is something wrong with my boot lid, when I press the boot release either from the car inside or keyring, it makes an awful ratterling noise of some sort and some times doesnt unlock, I have to go out and lift as I press the keyring boot release so it doesn't Do it. Is it to heavey for it to lift it properly because of the spoiler? Plz help it sounds terrible thank you :)

Hey mate you wanting just a cat back exhaust or full system extractors high flow cat and exhaust.
Im running a full Di Dillipo system. Stainless steel extrators and cat then mild steel catback.
Nice note and no drone at all.
Other options are Pacemaker, Redback, herrod and xforce.
Got an idea on how much you want to spend?
Another thing is if you replace the cat with a high flow it will turn your check engin light on.
Need to get a custom tune to have it turned off.

As for the boot my old EL did it when I put a heap of dynamat on the boot lid and now my BF does it some times after doing the same so I just put it down to the extra weight, not a huge deal.

Oh sweet thanks man I wanna spend inbetweem 900-1300 for the exhaust system, I sent am inquiry to toys mufflers and mechanic shop, got a quote for 975 for pacemackers and 21/2” exhaust with good chrome end but also waiting for reply for flash tune and the exhaust system ad a service, so waiting for them to reply. I just want to get my boot fixed so bad!
