have heard that they are a lumpier cam and a descent gain can be gained if fitted to the n/a? is this true or a waaste of my time? also are they're any special tricks with swapping the cams/timing them. also how do i tell intake one from the exhaust one on the bf turbo cams that are already removed?

Just mark Inlet exhaust with an I using a centre punch, or the Exhaust with an X, thats what we used to do when I worked at an engine reco place :wink:

the cams im tryin to iddentify are already out of a Bf XR6T so only have part numbers on them

yeah mate there is a bloke in perth that does this and then tunes them in (http://www.xtremefordtuning.com.au/inde ... Itemid=59_) he was saying they are alot better than any other out there and he has dyno graphs to prove it ...i was looking at it but the money dried up :( so i didnt get around to it

CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT GAINS YOU WOULD GET FROM THIS FOR THIS SORT OF MONEY! IM NOT MUCH INTO THE TURBO SCENE OR ANYTHING SO THIS MIGHT BE THE USUAL THING BUT 10K + I WOULD BE EXPECTING A LOT FROM IT!

the turbo. you'd do manifold at the same time.
few other bits, fuel system would get a look in.
im ignoring the driveline.
10k for 500rwhp drive in drive out is pretty decent really, that was pipe dream stuff not that many years ago. you are talking 60-70% more power then stock.

this is way off topic btw.
