Hey guys, wanting to know how hard it is to change a bf xr6 turbo to a standard everyday engine? Is it as easy to just take the turbo and pipes off and run a standard exhaust manifold and airbox or is there more involved?
Would love some answers? Cheers

Are you retarded?

And no, not that simple. Tune will be out and compression will be too low.

also the cams are different, if it was getting put into a non turbo car it would more than likely be a dog..

buy a flash tuner, then buy a standard N/A engine from the wreckers (with headers & intake pipes). take out your turbocharged engine, store it, throw in the N/A. then flash it. once your on your full license just un-convert it and you already have a flash tuner to re-tune it for more power.

obviously i've missed allot of detail, but their is one idea

or you can go down to the RTA and appeal for an exemption.

this has got to be the most stupid fuken question of the day.
FFS.
just buy some piece of shlt car to drive while on your P's then jump in your turbo and wrap it around a tree.

not all P plate drivers are idiots that excessively hoon and wrap their cars around trees, only a minority that cause the majority to be blamed.

This post was equally as stupid as the original one and doesn't provide any advice to the OP.

No s**t not every P plater hoons, but as the "minority" has enough at fault accidents to make 17-21 year old males the most at risk you can hardly blame the generalisation (or take personal offence at it).

The question has been answered, this should be closed before more dribble is posted.
