If you have done plugs leads, there only leaves the coil pack, get one for a AU six, as they are better than EF ones, made by bosch. Check your getting fuel delivery, take off the fuel line where it goes into the rail, the only other fuel issue could be injector clogged, fuel filter? process of elimination.

thanks alot bowsaw, have done coil, and fuel filter, couple of weeks ago ran right out of fuel and i think some s**t got to the injectors so i wacked a bottle of injector cleaner in there. i think it may be a completely cloged injector. but i did buy a set of recon ones that are in it now.

grab a spare spark plug, remove the leads from each cylinder in turn, and make sure its getting spark. Or, at idle, remove one lead at a time and replace it, while listening for a change in exhaust note. Easiest way to find out which cylinder is having issues. Just make sure you use some good high voltage pliers so you dont end up getting sparked. Did it to myself just this week. makes for some fun :D

haha guys allo fixed, whilst i was out there before, took the wires outa everyinjector one at a time, but a screw driver on the edge of the injector. to see if each one would give fuel (and not cloged) on the 5th injector when i pulled the wires out no change in not of engine. soo it was the 5th cylinder... spark plug or lead.... pulled the 5th plug out was wet as a shag... put it on the engine mount with multi grips checked for spark was very very weak! (these where changed about 2000kms ago) so to prove was that spark plug took the 1st cylinder plug out, then put the 5th plug in the 1st clylinder and wacked the 1st into the 5th.... was miss in 1st cylinder..... so is a spark plug. duno why it failed but then again nothing on a car is always perfect. i was thinking it was a valve or something phew. so car running like s**t came out to be a 10 dollar plug :D thanks for all your help

You're missing the point of why was a 2000km old spark plug stuffed? Are you sure you don't have a problem on #5? Or did you just drop it?

Unless they are iridium plugs, they are usually around 3 bucks each.
