Does anyone have any idea how much an improvement in airflow will be if you were to use a bigger throttle body say 85-90mm? CAPA charge $595 for one which to me seems quite pricey, but then again I don't rerally know.
Seems I'm better off going a lumpier cam

AFAIK for a moderately standard engine the factory one flows more than fine... spend you money else where.

As above

An engine is only as good as the biggest restriction, not the biggest part. You need a big cam and headwork before you need to start thinking about the throttle body. Even then the benefits are debatable.

The cheapest way to get a bigger throttle body is to have your current TB ported and polished. This can still cost anywhere up to $200.

Cheers for that.
One of my mates keeps trying to convince me that the throttle body is the way to go, but I'd really prefer the cam right now.
