I would start with resetting ur timing and make sure u check the hose to the map sensor as well, if it is split it will cause this problem. Check the basics first.

my temp is running on the n and the o so below the midle even on a 40 degree day could that b y it is running rich ?

i put my money on vac issues. being 17, you dont have heaps of cash so you've run the tank dry at some stage. sent a heap of s**t through the fuel system and sand blasted the crap out of the diaphram in the fuel pressure reg.

happened to a mate of mine. i imagine it happened quickly? not an evolving problem?
