Take a bellhousing bolt to the hardware shop as a sample, just make sure its longer to go thru the stand.
Somewhere in the depths of my fading memory I think you can use main bearing cap bolts out of a Falcon I6 donk. Or was it X flow head bolts??? Cant remember 4 sure.

make sure you get decent quality high tensile ones too! prolly get some at some auto stores (e.g. the Champion stands at some Repcos -).

ah - well, i went to bunnings & grabbed some nice big bolts that fit perfectly - however, i'm just having questions in regards to having the engine on the stand - i realise i should have all 4 bolts in, but what if i can't line them up with 4 holes? :?

should the engine be sitting level, or angling down? i fitted it up with 3 bolts yesterday, but the engine was angling down - i didn't want any bolts or anything to snap off!
