is there an easy way to remove the CAI snorkle while the airbox is still there?
i'm having trouble removing it on my AUII, it doesn't seem to come off and separate from the airbox, even with quite some force
unless i consider REALLY putting some force on it, but i thought i should ask the experts before i do any damage cheers

That snorkel should just come out. Just give it a little twist and turn, while your pulling on it mate.

next dilemma (i'm trying to replace the spark plug leads by the way)
i can put my arm under now and remove the leads.
but i figured if i did that i won't know which plug the new leads should go on.
there is no way i can see it (too dark and too cluttered, injectors in the way)
is there a trick to replacing the leads? cheers

Lats time I did it, I borrowed a hoist. The best way is to drop the new leads down the side of the car and then get under the car so you can plug them into the coil pack. might want to take note of what ones what before you take the old ones off.

And use a torch if you cant see

spark plug lead installed
thanks mate i did your method and it worked. now i just have to douse my arms in some sort of antiseptic

by the way when i plugged the leads onto the coil pack, numbers 4, 5, 6 actually had a "click" sound
whereas 1,2,3 didn't
so it's hard to tell whether 1,2,3 actually plugged in properly.
what symptoms should i get if 1,2,3 didn't plug in properly?
would the car start, or stutter or use more fuel? cheers

if they did not go in 1,2 and 3 would not bet getting any spark and your car would be running on 4,5 and 6 only and you would know about it.
