Quick tip - use the search button.

chip and cam for $3500 is stupid.
A cam will cost 200-500, chip 500-1000.
Do some research.

He's right, you will get change from $2000.

$3500 would get you a worked head, cam, chip and diff gears. (if not possibly more)

hey mate welcome to fm.
checkout the crescent motor sport threads on this site.
they have stage 2 or stage 3 head and cam combos for under 2g and then get yourself a cappa eliminater chip and you can get it all fitted and tuned at places like 'more power' 'towlers' 'kpm' 'fishers' theres heaps more just look around.
youll get around 145rwkw with the stage 2 and around 155rwkw with the stage 3.

yeh it is. My car also so has the speed limiter on it dont know if that makes any diff to the end result but it went to a max speed of like 160 all the time. I am happy with the results the exhaust and extractors pulled off

180 should be the limit not 160. Sounds like you have shorter diff gears already.
