one of my mates has a EB 4 litre auto and he is getting a better cam for it and i might get the old one off him.

The old cam is a Wade 1004 and he said that if i put it in my car it would run s**t if i dont get a chip for it.

is this right?

will it make a differents from Auto to Manual?

is it worth changing, i dont think the cam is all that old. it is a regind.

what would a regrind cam cost me because i will be swaping my old cam for his.

will i have to do anything to my engine like shims and springs i am working on getting a set a PH4480 to let it all out.
