im building an engine for my ef starting on saturday, it has a port and polished head, oversize valves, crow springs vernier gear and is shaven 30 thou, im after a suitable cam for the most power and i will get T.I performance to tune a chip to run it.
what is best? its an auto also.

1. Where do you want most of your power?
2. Are you worried about fuel economy?
3. Are you using your car as a daily driver, or a weekend cruiser?
4. Are you going to install a hi-stall torque converter or higher ratio diff?

not worried about fuel economy, 4.11's, maybe a high stall soon and it will be used for daily but not worried about rough idle or poor downlow power

have the head flow tested. then call surecam with the results and details of the car they will then select and grind a cam to suit.

When you say building an engine do you mean you are going to rebuild it or just whack a worked head and cam on stock bottom end?

If you run higher compression you will be able to run a longer duration cam, and will need to inform whoever you get to make the cam of this.
