just got my wade 1636 cam when i get it fitted what else should i get done while im there bigger injectors ect any info would be greatly appreciated............

dont forget you need an extra set of shims for your lifters..
theres no need for bigger injectors. you can fit au injectors but its not really necessary. if you got extractors and a good exhaust system the cam is the next step.. unless you want to remove the head and put bigger valves and do some porting?? |

nah its all good nothing a knife didnt fix lol.....
i got exhaust and every thing probably have to get chip re programmed , how much au injectors one of mine is ticking might as well just change them all. thanx clampy

Injectors tick, some are louder than others. It could be your rocker gear ticking as well.
If you do need/want some injectors, just get some reco's from ebay, bout 100bux, but its definitely not necessary. |

It will be a noticeable difference, but its not extreme mate. I've got the 1673 (one step larger), but I rekon its fairly mild still, idles fine.
$ for $, you get more kick out the cam than an exhaust system though. |

1636 is fairly small for a 5 speed, but slightly better than xr6 cam. You could have gone the 997b, or something a lot wilder having a manual trnsmision.
You will notice an improvement though, and thats the main thing.

the 1636 is a nice cam, buckets of torque down low. good luck getting off the line hard with the 5 speed lol. I had trouble with the 1636 and mine is an auto.When i had it in, the car reved pretty hard from get go . Power peaked around 4500-5000rpm
