hows it all going man...what does it mean by missing by a tooth? can that throw the whole cam out of wack (ie what ur experiencing?)
what did the installer say about that?

undo the cam bolt and move the vernier forward one notch on the chain? i REALLY want this fixed by friday night. please help. You need to find true top dead center and then look at where the gam gear is sitting so you know if you are out a tooth or not.

i have completly reinstalled the cam only just finished (god its cold up here tallarook ranges).
let the chain tesioner get oil in it and its all good, seems to have MUCH more low down power, havnt reved it over 3000rpm, will find out tommorrow if its better. |

yeah as soon as a drastic advance is fixed like wha you possibly had, you will notice a BIG difference.. Looking forward to hearing how you get on with it. Dave

its going to the installer in a few hours, to have my work checked, is why im not reving it, made some odd nioses at 4000, so im staying under 3000 for the trip back.
but it already feels better down low. hope it works out. might even see if i can upgrade to an r6 by drag day. |
