I am a newb, to this site anyway and the search engine didn't help so here we go.
An XR6 cam is able to go into my BA xl ute Y/N.
Would a BA xr6 ecu go in my ute ,would it make a difference?Would i have to run this with an XR6 cam?
The XR cam is roughly how much better KW ?
What roughly do aftermarket cams cost?I know the xr cam will be dearer but hey it's genuine.
Is there any other cam stuff i need to know?
Pls be gentle.

XR6's cams in the BA's are identical to the lower spec ones.

the ECU probably wont fit, any would not make any difference.

after market cams for the BA your looking at $1500+ from what ive heard.

Cam's at this stage on BA's are an area which arent really touched much.

Just get a flash tune on your ECU (about 1300 bucks) and you will get good power.

The specs powerwise for the XR6 and the povo pack falcons are the same. Flash tune is the way to go.

XR6 have the sames cams, I managed to get some crow cams second hand for $350, new they are about $750-$800. Plus you will need a flasher tuner with custom tuning or your car will go into limp mode. Tuner with custom tuning is about $1500.
