Hi.

Unfortunately, what you want doesn't really exist.

On a stock engine with no headwork, fuel upgrades or ECU alterations, there are only a couple of cams that will increase performance and still make it actually useable on a daily basis.

Also, is your car auto or manual, as an Auto car has even less options.

I have a Wade 1673 cam which works great with a manual transmission. However, this cam is considered too large for use behind an automatic. At idle it has a slight lope which I find sounds good to my ear.

My car has intake and exhaust improvements, but the head and block are stock. I do have the XR6 300kpa fuel pressure regulator, and the Tickford EL Ghia ECU.

So while my 'engine' is stock, the rest has been modified to allow the cam to work to it's best. I can go one step further and have a J3 chip installed with a modified tune to suit the cam, and I also have a Tickford head to go on at some point.

If your car is an auto, the Wade 1636 would be my suggestion, and no, it will not sound lumpy, but it will not stall all the time, and will have good low end and mid range improvements.

Cheers
BenJ

nah the vid says on there that its untuned which is why it sounds like that, when its tuned it would be diffrent ( less lumpy) but more useable
