ey bro quick question instead of putting a mpfi into your car why not put a el engine instead ? or a au engine itll go alot harder cost around the same and its the same amount of f**k around ... el engine will bolt streight in there is a few threads on here about this i got it done to my car and im not looking back also troyman did a au con version its abit more difficult but it can all be done if u want a good project... if you need any help you should try searching first though people on here tend to get p****d off if you dont just giving u a heads up thats all if you want any help pm me ill help u out no questions asked

I'm semi mechanically minded, if you find someone who can do it, i'll help out just for fun, i'll wait to see if you get more replies.

I agree with kostah on this one...you can source out EL motors which are going for about 600 with all accessories attached. It would be much easier since you are getting rid of the old...and hence can pull things out a little bit quicker ;) :evil:. Then bolt the EL motor in with an auto ECU (Assuming you have a 4 speed gearbox) and it will drive much better...though it is your money and your car...just giving you some more options.

If you need a hand I can stand by help a little I guess...

phong =P~

I would go along with the offer of help you have been offered. It is not as difficult as you may think. If you have the bits and pieces and ALL gaskets and a car in the background that supports mpi then go for it. I would seek an ECU out of an EA man. MPI just to be on the safe side .
