Hey
I have just pointed my rocket cover on my Ford AU, now i have put it all together i started it up, and it doesn't idle right. If its in park or neutral it revs at 2000rpm+, but when i put in drive or reverse it goes down to normal which is about 900rpm. :? What is the problem?
Thanks

Did you disconnect or knock any vacuum lines? Disconnect the ISC and not hook it up properly. Disconnect battery and ECU needs to relearn? Disconnect accelerator or cruise cable and it is not hooked up right?

Lots of things to go through. You could also reset the idle speed by putting car into diagnostics, disconnect ISC and put 0.75mm feeler between the idle screw. Set idle for 650rpm.

cheers
Scott

If i disconnect all the sensors on the TB it still itels the same. If you have it in park then change it to drive something in the diff or the Tail shaft knocks. Also if you have your foot on the break the car goes faster, by that i mean it actually picks up speed.
