put some new oil in the motor, and drive it slowly for a couple minutes and then give it a thrashing, i had all sorts of problems with my car after it had not been started for about a year, most of them were gone after that
heres a few to list,
noisy lifters,
noisy belt + pullys,
running rough
diff whining

I definately wouldnt thrash it, just check the plugs and or replace first then take it for a run but look after the motor dont thrash it fastest way to pop something that might be stuck

I our a bottle of flash lube injector cleaner into it. Changed the plugs resetted the computer. Better but still rough. Is it super dodgey to use axle stands hack rear up and use cruise controll at 100kmhr or 60 in 4th?

I roped it up with 20l ampol gold and a bottle of spitfire octane boost. Still
won't idle and stalls out 95% of the time.
She never was a good idler but never stalled out. Took her fir a quick run maybee 1km to
mix her up.
Removed air box, checked spark all still no luck

mate i just bought an eb and it had the same problem, wasnt driven for 7 months and was dual fuel, WOULD NOT run on fuel, i stripped the gas, done a full service fuel filter n all, still no luck after weeks of driving, and topping fuel up twice. then i went to do a running diagnostics in the driveway and it ran out of fuel, filled it up with fresh fuel and she was fixed. drain watever is in the tank, and start again. post back.

if the tank was half empty it could cause a small amount of rust, there could also be a small amount of moisture..
try pouring about 500ml of metholated sprite in there, or buy the equivalent from an automotive store..

yeh that sounds right because when mine was running out of fuel i disconnected the fuel filter under the car and it was spitting out rust and it didnt even smell like fuel. i left it disconnected, put about 5 litres in, made the fuel pump work about 3 or 4 more times till it stopped spittin out rust, hooked it all up and car fixed.
