Change the BCM and possibly the ignition barrel.
Have those spares here if you want to leave here overnight to be tested or whatever you like.

I may take you up on that Matt when I get it back tomorrow. Main reason I'm considering the Smartlock Bypass is because I don't really need Smartlock with an aftermarket alarm and it'll allow me to have a play with remote start possibilities if I feel the urge...

Replaced BCM.

So far so good. But I've only tried twice. I need to leave it at least 6-8 hours between starts to ensure a good test.

Won't know for another couple of days if it's actually worked or if it's just good luck.

Stupid question but how do I test that? Just measure battery voltage before and during starting?

connect vaultmeter to battery and crank it over watching how far the gauge drops volts +

Problem is fixed (touch wood) ...

New starter motor has SEEMED to fix it. Two weeks in and it's started every day. Took approximately 2 seconds to start on two occasions which I guess isn't too out of the ordinary...

Also sporting some AU injectors now which probably hasn't hurt.
