Theres a sound of air or something which runs in conjuction to the revs of the car. When the revs wind up you can slightly notice the sound of the air increase, its more noticeable when changing down gears though cause you can't hear it over the exhaust.
Its only been doing this since I had the new cam installed. Its doesn't appear to be affecting the car, but I'd just like to have an idea of what it is

Hehe, yeah my car does that with the Alted cam. Seems to get way more induction noise. Weird hey.

My pod filter sometimes makes a psch kind of noise if you take it up to 4000rpm+ and suddenly get off the power or shift up, sounds kind of like a blow off valve.. gets a few weird looks.

Thats basically exactly the exact same setup as mine and the same type of sound. Sounds better changing down gears though

Yep same setup as mine too. Pod in box, 3" piping and BBM.
Guess that explains it then.
