leads.. :D well wtf the mechanic i went to today said "wait... these falcons dont use leads anymore" D=<

thanks.. BTW. i just checked the.. leads and coil packs and pushed them in as hard as i can (well not really but you know) then put the cover back on and everything... and now she aint spitting, well maybe a tiny bit but not a lot, when i took her out just then when i put my foot down i heard a "tr-tr-tr-tr-tr-tr-tr-t-' noise but REALLY FAST, like a machine gun... (not like the sound of a machine gun, just the speed.) but then after that putting the foot down was no problem? hmmmm

is it worth replacing the fuel filter still or?

not really anyway to test them, but ba coils are known for failing causing a miss under revs or load or even missing a cyl..

usually need to replace all 6 at the same time...

when was the plugs replaced last???

not sure sir, i bought it about 3 months ago and it had 110,000 on the clock, now it has 117,400 on the clock. so the problem is more leaning towards the coils rather than fuel filter?

yes, the factory plugs are iridium plugs and usually need changing around 100,000km mark, you will probably find its either plugs or coils..or both..
i would suggest changing both. i also beleave that ford now supply bf/fg coils as a replacement for the early ba ones...

oh thanks a lot man! Btw i recently had the plugs replaced, i think i found the solution to fix this spitting, i MAY have found a loose lead.. The car runs fine now it gets to 80 before a set of trees near my house so that indicates its running fine for now, theres very minimal signs of it spitting now, but ill def look into that new coilpack, and btw do you know how much theyd be at all or?
